I started CFYC because I believe music is one of the few things that unites us all. When the music is playing, people aren't divided — they're dancing, laughing, and remembering their shared humanity.

I've also noticed something about people: we are most alive when we feel like we're contributing to something bigger than ourselves. A concert for a cause gives everyone in the room that feeling — the artist on stage, the donor writing a check, and the stranger dancing next to you. Everyone leaves having been part of something that mattered.
